I hate to say I told you so, but I TOLD YOU SO!!! If you read my September 7th post entitled "I think its time for some time out", i said "United will probably rue the day" that they sold Rutgerus. Well, today vs Levante, Ruud went postal. He scored a hat trick and could have had more. The only reason United sold Van Nistelrooy was because of Sir Alex Ferguson. Now, I think Sir Alex is the best manager in the world and Manchester United will ALWAYS be my team, BUT Fergie made a HUGE mistake in getting rid of Van Nistelrooy because as I said before, there is no way that Saha can replace Ruud. If United don't get trophies out of this year, and Van Nistelrooy gets his 30 goals this season, then I think the Glazers might need to start looking for a replacement for the 20 year manager of United. I know its blasphemy, but results and trophies are all that matter. So if you haven't been able to figure out that RVN is my favorite player, you have been living under a rock. Imagine if United play Madrid sometime in this year's champions league...
P.S. Another Pigskin refrence (sorry): After watching the Falcons/Panthers game this weekend, I have come to the conclusion that the Falcons actually have a Super Bowl caliber team and am now calling that the super bowl will be Falcons/Patriots, with the Dirty Birds winning 24-21. Mark It Down!
